| The word “Athiktos”, meaning “untouched” or “unscathed”, derives from the ancient Greek verb “θιγγάνω” (thingano), “to touch lightly”. The “Unscathed Wines” of the Wine Cooperative of Samos, are therefore wines that embody the quintessence of what is currently expected from a minimal intervention approach in the production of so-called “natural wines”. Erimitis (= the Hermit), Vounitis (= the Mountain Man), Profitis (= the Prophet). Three labels that look similar although they are different in many ways, for three alternative expressions of the Muscat of Samos.
