| The project "Cuvée 1821 - Anniversary Wine of the Greek Revolution" started as an ambitious wine project but was not completed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was an initiative by which the Greek wine sector was called to collectively commemorate the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution.
The "Cuvée 1821" action is an idea of Dino Stergidis taken over by Vinetum and designed in collaboration with our design studio and the support of the leading French glassmaker Saveglass. The Greek wine industry was called to collectively celebrate the bicentenary of the Greek Revolution. Each Greek winemaker could vinify a wine specifically for the anniversary event, and then bottle it under his own label but in a specific bottle shared by all, the "Cuvée 1821" bottle. However, the ambitious wine project was not completed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The prototype of the bottle was already ready in the summer of 2019 and the glassworks had moved on to sample production. The promotional brochure was released in January 2020 and distributed to a significant number of winemakers. Finally, under the restrictions of the pandemic, the action did not take place. The "Cuvée 1821" bottle designed specifically for the event is embossed with the logo of the action. The multi-page promotional brochure is addressed to the special audience of Greek winemakers. It includes a separate entry registration card and is enclosed in a special folder. |
