| Menu design with cover illustrations for the Kokkina Pitharia restaurant in Vytina. Four different themes were drawn from the fauna of the region, the partridge, the rooster, the horse and the deer, which adorn an equal number of cover versions.
The design began by drawing four grids of randomly drawn curved lines that intertwine in an organic way. The grids acted as a canvas for drawing the animal figures. The forms emerged through the selection of available shapes resulting from the intersections of the lines. When the covers were printed, the white lines of the canvas were emphasized with emposs. |
